St Joseph’s Hall

Client: St Josephs Hall | Role: Main Contractor Improper modern plaster causing damp was removed and replaced with Cornerstone Insulating Lime Plaster, restoring breathability and structural integrity to this historic hall.

Ruin of Erwood Hall

Client: Forestry England | Role: Main Contractor Consolidated damaged ruins walls using lime mortar, re-bedding loose stones to prevent further deterioration and ensure public safety at this vandalised site.

Swinton Estate

Client: Swinton Estate | Role: Sub Contractor Converted a farm outbuilding into office space by fitting new wall plates and pitching a new roof over existing decorative trusses and purlins.

Congleton

Client: Domestic | Role: Main Contractor External repairs to a Georgian property, including new lintels, local rendering and painting, rooftop inspection with slate fixes, gutter repairs, window refurbishments using repair care systems, new hardwood windows, and replacement stone steps.

City Road – Colliery Cottage (1718)

Client: Domestic | Role: Main Contractor Roofing and chimney rebuild: Repatched rear extension for continuous roofline, replaced concrete tiles with reclaimed slate, demolished and rebuilt failed chimney with reset pots and flaunching.

Longsight

Client: Myriad Foundation | Role: Main Contractor Roofing, joinery, and masonry repairs: Stripped and re-slated roof, sandblasted paint removal, lime mortar repointing, replicated decorative barge boards using Accoya, and renewed box gutter details.

Peel Moat Rd

Client: Domestic | Role: Main Contractor Full house refurbishment: Partial re-wire, underfloor heating, restored handrails and spindles, cornice and ceiling rose installation, structural steelwork, lime and modern plastering, kitchen joinery, external repointing with lime mortar, window and door refurbishments, replicated timber skirtings and architraves.

Manchester Opera House

Client: Manchester Opera House | Role: Sub Contractor (Main: MCC) Window repairs: Fixed damaged windows and frames, reinstated glazing bars, manufactured new sapele windows and frames replicating originals, replaced damaged glass.

Muni Theatre

Client: Burnley Council | Role: Sub Contractor (Main: BE Boys) Plastered large lath and plaster ceiling, repaired/replaced egg and dart cornice, applied haired lime plaster, installed oak riven laths, repaired corbels, added timber paneling to walls and stage.

Marys Norman Road

Client: Domestic | Role: Main Contractor Removed failed ceiling and replaced, replicated and installed plaster cornice, lime plastered window wall with traditional haired lime, replicated decorative timber architrave.

Paneling Restoration, Peak District National Park Head Office

Client: Peak District National Park | Role: Main Contractor | Date: June 2022 Restored timber paneling throughout office, dismantled and replaced water-damaged corner areas behind radiator.

Hyde Porch

Client: Domestic | Role: Main Contractor Roofing and lime rendering: Stripped roof and installed new leadwork, laid new stone coping stones, removed and re-rendered with lime, created decorative port hole surround using horsehair.

Burnley Town Hall

Client: Burnley Council | Role: Sub Contractor (Main: Caliber Conservation) Traditional lime flatwork with haired plaster, replicated damaged fibrous plaster, repaired cornice and decorative elements, fitted oak riven laths.

Abbeystead – Higher Lee

Client: Grosvenor Estate | Role: Sub Contractor (Main: Be BOYS) Lime plastering using Cornerstone Insulating Lime Plaster (3-coat system). Applied cow manure slurry coats to overcome soot damage on gable walls.
